2021 SPRING SOFTBALL

Defiance Softball is excited for Spring Softball to return!

Spring Softball is for Junior High and Elementary Students!

​

Our spring league games begin at the end of March and run through mid-May.  Games are played in Defiance, and at ballparks in surrounding communities in northwest Ohio.  Our teams practice indoors throughout the winter, and move outside weather permitting.

Defiance Softball is looking for talented players to form our competitive teams for the 2021 spring season.

​

AGE GROUP DIVISIONS

Junior High 6th, 7th & 8th Grade

​

Elementary School Grades 3-5

​

**Players may play up a grade/division, but not down."

​​

Teams are to be community-based, so our teams are looking for players that attend Defiance Schools. This is intended to be fun and competitive, and give players an opportunity to play with others who will be on their school teams as they get older.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Tryouts for our spring softball teams have concluded.

If you missed tryouts and would still like to play, please send an email dsabusch@gmail.com to possibly schedule a private tryout.

SEASON INFORMATION

Regular Season: March 26th through May 9th.

​

Games will be primarily played on Fridays and Sundays.

​​

​COST

Team Fee: $75

Uniform Fee: $60

​

This is going to be different for 2021. Player fees are lower than in previous years, however, players will also be responsible for the purchase of their uniform.

​LOCATIONS

Our spring teams require a small amount of travel. We will play our home games at Diehl Park in Defiance, but will also play at other schools/ballparks around northwest Ohio.
