Defiance Softball is excited for the return of FALL BALL!

 

Defiance Softball is looking for players to form our teams for the 2026 fall ball season.

Fall Ball players will participate in the age group they will be playing in next summer and is designed to give players the opportunity to learn more about the game and develop skills. For many players, especially those moving to a new age group, Fall Ball is the time to adjust to changes that come with the new age group.

 

WE DO NOT HOST OUR OWN FALL LEAGUE.

Games are played in Defiance, and at ballparks in surrounding communities in northwest Ohio.  Games will be played on Sundays. Some travel may be required for Fall Ball.

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 17^th

 

 

AGE GROUPS:

8u - 10u - 12u - 14u

 

​Players will play in their 2027 age group.

Age group is determined by the age of the player as of August 31, 2026.

SEASON INFORMATION:

8u & 10u

Will participate in the Fairview Fall League.

ALL games will be played at Ney Community Park.

Game Dates: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4

Double-headers each week.

 

12u & 14u

Will participate in the Wizards Fall League

Home games at Diehl Park and will travel to other communities for away games.

Game Dates: 8/30, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4

Double-headers each week.

 

COST

8u - $50

10u - $55

12u & 14u - $85

Fees cover uniform top and socks, league fees, sanction fees, umpire costs, etc.
