Defiance Softball has been providing youth sports opportunities for the youth of our community for over 50 years!

SPRING SOFTBALL (Click Here)

Spring teams are our "travel" style teams that feature competitive play for elementary and junior high age players to compete against other communities around northwest Ohio.

Season Dates: March 28 - May 6

Tryouts in December

Practices begin in January

Games are played at Diehl Park and around NW Ohio

Grades 3rd to 8th

SUMMER SOFTBALL (Click Here)

Summer softball is our "rec ball" season. Players are divided up in their age group and put on multiple teams and compete against other teams from our program and other local programs.

​

Season Dates: May 9 - June 30

Evaluations and practices begin in spring

Games are played Monday - Thursday

Most games are played at Diehl Park and Defiance High School

Ages 5-16

FALL BALL

Our fall ball teams are developmental teams. Players are encouraged to play up in the age group for next summer to learn and grow in hopes of preparing them to make the change, or to simply improve skills.
