Defiance Softball has been providing youth sports opportunities for the youth of our community for over 50 years!​

 

SPRING SOFTBALL

Spring teams are our select, travel-style teams that feature competitive play for elementary and junior high age players to compete against other communities around northwest Ohio.

​Season Dates: March 27 - May 4

Tryouts: December 1st & December 3rd

Practices begin in January

Games are played at Diehl Park and around NW Ohio

Grades 3rd to 8th

SUMMER SOFTBALL

Summer softball is our "rec ball" season. Players are divided up in their age group and put on multiple teams and compete against other teams from our program and other local programs.

​Season Dates: May 6 - June 21

Evaluation Sessions: March 14 & March 16

Practices Begin: March 25

Games are played Monday - Thursday

Most games are played at Diehl Park and Defiance High School

Ages 5-16

Season Dates: May 11 - June 22
Mostly Saturdays

Ages 4-6

FALL BALL

Our fall ball teams are developmental teams. Players are encouraged to play up in the age group for next summer to learn and grow in hopes of preparing them to make the change, or to simply improve skills.

​Season Dates: TBD
