2020 FALL BALL
Defiance Softball is excited to offer FALL BALL!
Our fall ball games begin at the end of August and run through mid-October. Games are played in Defiance, and at ballparks in surrounding communities in northwest Ohio. Games will be played as Sunday afternoon doubleheaders.
Defiance Softball is looking for talented players to form our competitive teams for the 2020 fall ball season.
AGE GROUPS:
10u - 12u - 14u
This will be a "play up" league.
Age will be determined as of December 31, 2020.
Players will play in their 2021 age group.
SEASON INFORMATION:
Games will be Sunday afternoon doubleheaders.
Game times could possibly be 12:00, 1:00, 1:30 and 3:00.
Open Date: August 23rd
End Date: October 18th
Teams pick how many Sundays they want to play, up to 8 weeks.
No games will be scheduled on September 6th.
Teams may schedule their own games on any other day if they'd like.
TRYOUT SESSIONS
Players need only to attend one of two sessions offered.
Session 1: Saturday, July 18th
Player Sign In: 10:00 - 10:30am
Tryout: 10:30am - 12:00pm
Session 2: Tuesday, July 21st
Player Sign In: 6:00 - 6:30pm
Tryout: 6:30 - 8:00pm
Both tryout sessions will be held at Diehl Park.
Players should be prepared with their own equipment: cleats, bat, helmet, and glove.

COST
$80 per player
Includes jersey and socks.
No payment is due at this time. Player registration and payment will occur once team rosters have been set after tryouts.
