2022 FALL BALL

Defiance Softball is excited for the return of FALL BALL!

Our fall ball games begin at the end of August and run through mid-October.  Games are played in Defiance, and at ballparks in surrounding communities in northwest Ohio.  Games will be played on Sundays.

​

Defiance Softball is looking for talented players to form our competitive teams for the 2022 fall ball season.

​

AGE GROUPS:

10u - 12u - 14u

​

Players are encouraged to play play in their 2023 age group.

Example: If a player will move from 10u to 12u next summer, it's encouraged for them to play up in 12u for Fall Ball. It is a great opportunity to learn and grow!

SEASON INFORMATION:

Games will be Sunday afternoon doubleheaders.

Game times could possibly be 12:00, 1:00, 1:30 and 3:00.

**Game times may vary based on field availability.**

Open Date: August 21st

End Date: October 16th

TRYOUT SESSIONS

Players need only to attend ONE of two sessions offered.

​

Session 1: Sunday, July 24th

Player Sign In: 6:00 - 6:30pm

Tryout: 6:30 - 8:00pm

 

Session 2: Tuesday, July 26th

Player Sign In: 6:00 - 6:30pm

Tryout: 6:30 - 8:00pm

Both tryout sessions will be held at Diehl Park.

​

Players should be prepared with their own equipment: cleats, bat, helmet, and glove.

​

COST

$100 per player

Includes jersey and socks.

​

No payment is due at this time.  Player registration and payment will occur once team rosters have been set after tryouts.
